UTF-8 Browser Check

Test your internet browser's support for special UTF-8 characters from the UTF-8 character set. UTF-8 special characters have been adopted in HTML 4.0, but not all browsers support all of the 1.1 million UTF-8 characters. Here we've listed some of the more popular mathematical, greek and internationalization characters. Normally you will see "blocks" or a question mark "?" when a character is unable to be displayed.

Check your browser to see how well it handles UTF-8 Character Set

Browser Setup

You don't need to do anything to select the UTF-8 character set. It is actually specified by this line in the head section of this webpage. It looks like:

<META http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html" charset="UTF-8">

A full Character Entity Reference for HTML 4.0 is available at: http://www.w3.org/TR/PR-html40/sgml/entities.html
